Role: Senior Citrix Administrator / Citrix Infrastructure Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Citrix Administrator with strong hands-on expertise in Citrix Cloud (DaaS), Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and enterprise virtual application and desktop infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administration, configuration, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support of Citrix environments, ensuring high availability, secure remote access, and reliable service delivery.
Administer, configure, and support Citrix Cloud (DaaS) environments to ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance.
Manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), including Delivery Controllers, Virtual Delivery Agents (VDAs), published applications, virtual desktops, and session management.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Citrix StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, and related infrastructure components.
Administer Citrix ADC (NetScaler), including Gateway configuration, load balancing, SSL certificates, authentication policies, and secure remote access.
Monitor Citrix infrastructure, identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot application and desktop access issues, and implement corrective actions.
Manage user access, profile management, Active Directory integration, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
Perform Citrix infrastructure upgrades, patching, migrations, configuration changes, and routine maintenance.
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Investigate and resolve production incidents involving Citrix Cloud, CVAD, NetScaler, connectivity, authentication, and end-user access.
Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA), document findings, and implement preventive measures to reduce recurring incidents.
Collaborate with Windows, network, security, application, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, knowledge articles, and support runbooks.
Participate in change management, release activities, disaster recovery exercises, and service improvement initiatives.
Provide technical guidance to junior administrators and coordinate support activities as required.
10+ years of relevant Citrix administration and infrastructure support experience.
Hands-on experience with Citrix Cloud (DaaS).
Strong expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD).
Experience administering Citrix ADC (NetScaler).
Knowledge of Citrix Gateway, load balancing, SSL certificate management, and authentication configuration.
Experience managing Citrix StoreFront and Delivery Controllers.
Strong Windows Server administration and Active Directory knowledge.
Experience with Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and user access management.
PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, performance tuning, and production support capabilities.
Experience with incident management, root-cause analysis, and change management.
Experience with Citrix environment migrations and platform upgrades.
Knowledge of Citrix profile management and user experience optimization.
Exposure to high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
Familiarity with ITIL-based service management processes.
Experience working in large-scale enterprise Citrix environments.
